Coco and Penny make **Tier 1** on their own. Their unparalleled mobility and great versatility mean that they can consistently carry teams single-handedly.

Vinnie and Spike are almost Tier 1 so I’ll put them in **Tier 1.5**, simply because of how broken Red Bandana is in the hands of someone competent. Combined with instantaneous burst, great push, and unique mobility — he’s still up there even though I don’t see many people complaining about him.

Genji, Clunk, Skolldir, Leon, Lonestar, Sentry, and Froggy G are **Tier 2** in that they may carry a team single-handedly but not with as much ease as those above. They’re very much worth watching throughout a match as they can do serious damage if left unattended. Self-initiation is either not required, or is already part of the naut’s kit.

The rest of my list is omitted because it gets really blurry past the best of the best. I want to note, however, that Voltar is not nearly as bad as most people want to say he is (if played primarily for burst with heals as a secondary). Scoop also should not be Tier 4, as he has one of the only long-ranged CCs in the game and is very much a dangerous sight in competitive.
